Re-re-renaming Integrity contest
A few of you just can’t resist all the many outrageous options that exist for a new unrenamed Integrity. Here are some of the latest, less serious entries:
- KINGDOM AIRS
- THE LOUISERS
- THE ARTISTS FORMERLY KNOWN AS INTEGRITY (three people have voted for this one already)
- HOLIER THAN THOU (continuing the implications from previous names Integrity and Triumphant)
- THE TENNESSEE SMOKY MOUNTAIN GOSPEL HEIR BOYS QUARTET SINGERS (In Christ Amen)
On the seriouser front, NP sent me a suggestion he posted over at sogospeluvers:
Why doesn’t Jeff Stice buy back the rights to the name PERFECT HEART that he sold to the guy a few years back?
Not a bad idea but probably impractical. First off, this assumes the guy Stice sold it to wants to resell it. Second of all, it assumes the Mandrell Theater marketing types would allow it, which seems unlikely, since Perfect Heart A)comes attached with some, uhm, baggage and B)probably isn’t bland enough for a theater whose audience is partly non-sg hardcore fans. “Perfect Heart? … Mildred, I thought you said we were gonna hear a gospel group before Barbara’s sister sangs. This sounds like some singin heart surgeons are sumthin. … Pass the kettle korn.” And so on. More ideas?
Update: A few more names are in the mix and the first makes them both worth the package deal
- HEIR HEADS
- WIANA (What’s In A Name, Anyway?)
