Here at averyfineline, the division of interns responsible for handrolling the site (you know, the web monkey work) … well, they’re interns. And you get what you pay for with intern help. One particularly lazy intern has been promising and promising to dig up the html trick that will automatically populate the subject field of email messages generated by readers when they hit the COMMENTS button at the end of each post. So here it is, at long last. Now when you click COMMENTS, the subject line of the email you send should prefill with the title of the entry you wish to comment on. At least that’s what the interns say will happen. We’ll see.
