honey, yeah they are, sometimes they meet up & do concerts together, & the fact that this is a positive post is really sad, you seriously need to look at yourself in the mirror before you judge other people. & im not tryin to be mean at all, im just sayin!<3

Kayla,
I guess you haven't read this site EVER before - compared to many other album and concert reviews posted here, this is what I would call "positive".
I'm sorry your Uncle decided not to go to the concert, but for crying out loud, this post is 4 years old. - Crabb Family isn't even touring anymore.

okay, i'm just curious how you can critique someone's performances like this? i mean a christian/gospel group?? what the heck? seriously, who cares what they sound like. or if YOU dont like them, they are helping spread the word of God to people, thats all that matters, even if they were the worst singers in the world (which they are not) if they are doing it for God, that's all that matters.&& even judging there performance wouldnt have been so bad if you hadnt thrown in aaron's preaching, that is horrible. He is preaching the wod of God & you are sittin there judging him, & laughing @ him, i'm sorry but what does it matter how the "southern gospel culture" is, as long as there getting the word of God out to people. & here's a thought, & i say this as nicely as possible, to be a christian is to be CHRIST-like, & do you honestly believe that Jesus would sit & judge poeple on there performances?? NO! as long as they are doing it for him. if you don't like the crabb family thats fine, but to sit & almost mock them, thats horrible.my uncle (who is lost) was gonna go to a crabb family concert w/ me, then when he read this he decided he wasnt gonna go, & to think that because of this kinda stuff right here is what keeps some people out of the house of God, is a shame, i'm sorry im not tryin to be rude or anything, but before you judge someone else's performance or life, look at yourself. cause if i were reading this, i'd almost think it came from a lost person, cause a true christian would uplift there's brother's & sisters ministry instead of judging it like this.!

I have read your site for the last few months and I have to admit, it has been a breath of fresh air. Since we just sold the bus last month and came off the road three years ago, I had thought that no one had the same ideas I have about Gospel music. The greatest problem I see, but have not heard anyone raise is the fact that the entire sg industry is based on the ability of each and every small or large group to be able to obtain one more mortgage and get the half page ad in the singing news. When the growth of the industry is based on whether or not some new meat comes in, then the end is near whether anyone wants to admit it or not. The crabb family are the picture of what is good in gospel music. Unfortunately their ongoing farewell tour shows that even with all their upside, they were not able to make a proper wage for their families. I don't know this for a fact, since I have been out of the Southern Gospel gossip sessions for a couple of years. I do know that when it gets down to it, your love for the Lord and your love for the Lord are offset by your love to pay the light bill. Also, I agree about the growth of pentecostal churches, but what is going to happen when the emotion goes away? You can only operate at that high emotional state for so long. Just a question
