Hearses Never Pull Moving Vans
JL writes, “Now I’ve been mulling that over for at least three weeks and I still have no solid clue.” It’s an odd one to be sure, and insofar as it makes you start and say “Huh?” I guess it “works,” more or less. My own take is that it’s saying something to the effect of, “you can’t take things with you when you die so if your life is lived primarily for yourself and your acquisitive lifestyle, you better think again.”
