He had chosen to play the acoustic piano over in the corner behind a rather large forest of plastic planters. Except for his trademark waving of his latest Cd, his presence was rather subdued and I got the impression that he was just biding his time. When you mentioned a piano player change in the works the first to come to mind was PSQ. They've been around too long to fold up this easy but it will be a challenging task to rebound to the excitement and talent of the recent lineup. When I've seen them in person, he is constantly calling attention to himself at the expense of the singers. This bunch has lost a lot in a couple of years. Tony Peace, John Rulapaugh, Aaron McCune were 3/4 of the goup just a short time ago. Now Peace is with the Kingsmen, McCune with Gold City and Rulapaugh on stage. Only Kerry Beatty is left. Sounds like something is wrong in the PSQ camp. It's a shame that such a promising group is going through hard times.
