The Martins Redivivus?
Via reader KC, a brother and two sisters who sing spectacularly well, assuming this is for real. I of course immediately thought of the Martins, not least of all b/c they all three seem to fall into similar roles as the Martins: the one on the left is clearly the showiest one of the bunch, the girl in the middle the reliable, understated one, and the little boy on the right already seems to have figured out that it’s best to just sing his lines and not get in the way of whatever the sisters got going on over there.
Anyway, an ensemble sound this good really shouldn’t be wasted on a harmonically flaccid P&W tune like this, but it’s just all the more a testament to these kids’ apparent talent that they can take something unremarkable and make extraordinary music out of it. Enjoy.

Email this PostI love it! They’re called Daves Highway and they’re from Brandon, Mississippi. There are tons of videos of them on YouTube - they even cover the Martins’ “Because God’s Good” - Zachary is quite the showman (much more so than Jonathan Martin). So now we have Daves Highway & Austins Bridge…and not a single apostrophe in sight.
