It’s great music when I hear a certain chord progression or a certain phrase being played and it breaks colors into my being. No other way to describe it.

It’s great music if it can bless by soul!

It’s great music to me if it is well performed. Any example of musical excellence, whether it is instrumental or vocal, can rock me back on my heels. No matter the genre (although I do have my favorites), if the artist can make me go “Dang!! How does s/he DO that??”, then I’m sold. Like Will Hunting says, “Whatever blows your hair back.”
