I am watching the first season of Saturday Night Live, hosted by Paul Simon. He opened the show by singing “Loves Me Like a Rock,” backed by a very young Jesse Dixon and the Jesse Dixon Singers. I wonder if that makes Paul Simon eligible for a Gaither Homecoming appearance.

Leave it to sogo fans to ignore the video of current young stars making good raw music to spark up a discussion about a 1970’s era performance where something loosely related to southern gospel almost made it into the mainstream.
